Mold Release TE

Mold Release TE is a unique blend of silicone with trichloroethylene, which has not been shown to contribute to ozone depletion, as the carrier solvent. This quick evaporating, non-flammable release agent has been specially formulated for use in various cold box processes including iso-cure, carbon dioxide, and sulfur dioxide. This product offers excellent release on aluminum, urethane, and metal core boxes. FoundryGeneral® Mold Release TE does contain a chlorinated ingredient making it a CERCLA reportable.

RECOMMENDED APPLICATION:
FoundryGeneral® Mold Release TE is used as received. It can be applied either by spraying, brushing or wiping. Whatever technique is used, it is recommended a uniform coat be applied to insure consistent release. The frequency of application will depend upon core complexity and application technique. Application frequency should provide good release properties while minimizing build-up. Mix well before and during use. Please refer to the MSDS for proper safety instructions.

MATERIAL COMPATIBILITY:
Avoid heat, sparks and open flames. Avoid strong oxidizing agents (i.e. bleach), strong bases, chemically active metals, aluminum and water.
